But if they do not, then Wordpad generates the document in the Crystal viewer and you know how Wordpad doesn't handle several Word formatting features properly. When we do this however, the Crystal viewer displays a Word icon and the name of the file below it instead of the document.

The WordViewer is not an automation server. Can you convert the Word document to HTML, PDF, etc?
