Hi!

This does not matter from technical point of view. You can connect your Win2000/NT server to pure UNIX ISP machine, if you know how to configure everything. You just require software and install/configure it properly. Well, good ISP can also give you software for installation the web server and definitely Unix fans will not give it - you;re right here. Once I connected to such ISP. And have to configure everything by self because they even did not had any tips or guidelines on how to install and configure Windows 2000 to work through modem with their services 8) It took me 1 working day to figure out all details and experiment a lot before I first time established connection through modem :(

>Sounds like that's a very basic service provider - I would definitely shop around. They should have something like "Windows 2000/NT Shared Hosting Services" or maybe where they say something about FrontPage extensions. If there's none of that, they may be a heavy UNIX/Apache ISP in which case I would look elsewhere...

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
