It all depends on if it's strictly a hosting situation or not. If the ISP is hosting everything and they're UNIX and they offer no NT/2000 options, then you probably are not going to be able to have any ASP scripts.

If you host your own and the ISP is UNIX, then ,no, it doesn't matter since you can do anything on your own web server.

They should have something like "Windows 2000/NT Shared Hosting Services" or maybe where they say something about FrontPage extensions.
