>"Can't help you now, you're on your own"
You ain't seen nothin yet. True story here: I have a relative who programmed (mostly COBOL) in the 60s & 70s. One day, one of their best coders up and quit after being denied a promotion. He left for another job a few days later.
Shortly after he left, his largest program was malfunctioning, so some other programmers went in to take a look at the code.
The fellow had replaced all his standard code variables with every possible foul word (and he seemed to know all of them): cuss words, profanity, sexual terms, various bodily parts, and every other bad word you can think of that most people don't use in polite company. The code was hilarious, and very embarrassing for everyone who had to help clean it up.
Of course, nowadays this wouldn't be such a big deal, but this was a straightlaced IBM office back about 30 years ago.
The Anonymous Bureaucrat,
and frankly, quite content not to be
a member of either major US political party.
