I've got an application with multiple sets of databases , a set of databases are used for separate companies. The user needs to be able to change between databases without restarting the program as you could do with selecting a different local path in preferences.

I am using the MetaDBC to contain the different directories for the different companies with a client field to identify each company. But I have to shut down the program and restart to get the change to take effect.
