>Background: I have a custom control class (a container with a label and two textboxes) that is used on several forms. In one instance this control needs to be disabled. However, the users want the label to remain as if it is enabled --the textboxes are not a problem. I thought I could adjust the disabled forecolor of the label but that did not do it.

Can you disable textboxes, but not the label? How do you set them to be disabled? Via SetAll command? If yes, just do it for class "Textbox", so it would not disable label. Or enable this label after control is disabled...
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
