Maybe I'm missing something from a previous message, but I work
almost exclusively in 5.0 and ONLY on WinNT 4.0 - server and workstation,
it works just fine!!! Both as development and distributed apps...
I tried to run VFP5.0 App on Windows NT 4.0 and it dose not support it I
ended using VFP3.0 for the job.
>I tried to install foxpro 2.6 on my NT4 workstation and was getting all
kinds of strange errors... I finally called Adaptec (using a wide scsi
controller). What they told me was that 16bit apps (such as fpw) is not
compatible with NT. However I was running the app using an IDE drive and it
worked fine. So you may want to check the configuration of the systems that
have problems with running the app.

>>I'm trying to support an existing app on an NT network while I'm
upgrading it to Visual 5. Several users report being unable to install the
app, which installs fine in Windows 3.x. Does anyone have experience with
this?
