Because the app that i am dealing with is large with approx hundreds of classes this started to degrade performance alot.

CLEAR CLASS seems like a reasonable thing to try, since VFP supposedly keeps class definitions in memory unless you clear them. If you have a lot of unique, "heavy" classes, I guess it starts to add up. Although I have a lot of classes, I do a lot of subclassing; memory consumption does not appear to be particularly dramatic.
