You don't know that. Pure speculation.

I don't think all of the pirating concerns are about Windows. I think the just look to make sure a business is in compliance for the products they look for. Be it Windows, Flash, Acrobat, or whatever. It's cheaper for software companies to form an alliance than to individually hunt down pirates themselves.

Well, you can't beleive everything thing you read but http://www.bsa.org does have some interesting tidbits.
