I have a form with several fields from an optimistic buffered table on it. In addition, I've put a "Save" button on a toolbar that is available when the form is running.

My problem is that if I change field values then select the Save button on the toolbar, all edits are committed except for the field that happened to have the focus at the time the Save button was pressed. I suspect that it has something to do with the fact that the field does not lose focus when the toolbar's Save button is pressed and VFP does not know about the modified value.

I've tested this situation by making an edit to one field and tabbing to a second field to make some more edits. If I select the Save button, only the changes to the first field is committed. If I do the same steps as before but then tab to another field and hit Save, the changes are all there.

Can anyone provide any information on how I can get around this problem?

TIA.
