There's memo field User in the class library .VCX table. It's reserved for developer use. You can store your info there.

I could then delete my table and regenerate it from the contents of this class. The table is then embedded in the program exe which calls the reporting exe (which holds my class) as a reference which is quicker than interrogating the reporting exe for it's contents every time.
