There are a number of things that affect performance, is there a filter set on the tables, is the filter optimized, what cdoe is in the refresh of the controls that has to execute with a THISFORM.Refresh(), how many controls are there, what kind of controls are they, is there a pageframe, how many pages, are the pages being refreshed, what controls are on the pages, and on and on and on ...

RI is an issue if record buffereing is enabled because moving the record pointer forces tableupdates on the buffered tables.
