Ed, are you using a filter on your child table and also grids? The combination is known to have speed problems.

Give us a little more information about your form: Page frames? Grids? Are you using relations between parent and child? If so are they set on the form or in the DBC? Filters? Seeks?

You'll find more help than you can wish for on the UT, but we need a little more information.
