We're developing a thick-cient VFP app that uses SQL Server 2000 tables.

The VFP app creates temporary tables (prefaced with '#') in SQL Server, for holding temporary lists of accounts/products that are eventually used as part of a SQL Stored Proc Query.

Someone told me that the ability to create temp tables (e.g. #LSTACCOUNTS, #LSTPRODUCTS, etc.) is only available in SQL Server Enterprise Edition, and that it might not be available in MSDE.

Is this true? What we're developing needs to work against the MSDE engine.

A related question is...what is the best source of information for capabilities in MSDE?

Thanks in advance,
Kevin
