>It's too valuable a tool for it to be optional. I see questions around here all the time (and I'm sure that you do too) about running a batch (.BAT) file from within Windows. That's what the WSH is, batch files for Windows, only they're batch files on steriods.:-) I use one as an application launcher. It checks the network drive to see if a new version of the application exists and/or if there needs to be a new install (SP, version change, etc.). Does all the dirty work for me (and the user).

I haven't gotten into using WSH, but it sounds useful. I needed to do something in a batch file once at home and asked my husband (also a CS person) if he knew how. He didn't, so I said I would try and find out if it can be done in WSH. He looked shocked that I was dumb enough not to have disabled that already. Sigh. I just can't see turning off a perfectly useful feature just because some people don't have the sense not to open attachements. Especially since I'm the only one using the computer and I _do_ have sense. :)

I haven't used 95 in ages. I like W2k much better. I have Win 98SE at home and I'm considering upgrading, but can't decide if I want to go to Win2k or XP. Probably Win2k because of problems with XP, but I'll wait and see if they get resolved first.
