'Supported' also means that the VFP team tested on that OS. VFP may install and run, but it's conceivable that certain IDE elements that depend on system components will not operate correctly, or cause instability in the product. If a problem with the product ever arises, you'll never know if it's being caused by your use of an unsupported OS.
