>I understand why! The underline and capitals in "_NO_PROGRAM_MANAGER_ITEM" were my emphasis. What I mean is that in the list of files to be included in the distribution, I did not check any as being the program manager item. This is the second to last step in my 3.0b setup wizard. It's the place where you can see what files are OCXs for example, and where files are to be installed--the program directory, windows system file, etc... Does this make more sense?

Thanks Nancy. I found it the other day after your suggestion.
Like 'duh'. I actually read the Help instructions. Maybe that's
what they are meant for.

Another question along these same lines. I was using another setup
program for VFP and it didn't work. Dp you know ALL of the required
files for VFP executes. Are there just two?
