Does the following apply here:

When calling a stored procedure using VFP OLE DB Provider, set CommandType tp adCmdText(1) or to adCmdUnknown(8), and not asStoredProc(4). VFP requires that stored procedures havew open and close parantheses "()" at the end of the stored procedure name. However, ADo removes these parentheses from the end of the stored procedure name when you use adStoreProc.
