Don't charge per-seat, increase your base-price instead. We found that the effort and costs we were putting into tracking licences / users, etc. for both us and our customers was too high. Having a no per-seat price allows us to compete with our rivals and get a foot in the door of large organisations (where per-seat costs are a major issue).

>At the moment we have a licence application that sits in with the main data on the server this app then locks records in a licence table as users go into the system. This "surprisingly" works very well. So why change it? Well on large sites locking take can a while ie 100 user +.
