Kevin, I swept everthing off my drive and reinstalled VFP . Now if I do as you suggested earlier:
1. Open the CBusinessObjectBuilder class located in the CBuilder.vcx library. 2. In the Load() method, uncomment the DODEFAULT() command 3. Close the class and save changes.
It solves the talk issue because the dodefault() sets talk OFF after the dobuilder() turns it ON. However I am having this problem with all the MMortals builders -- Forms, controls, menus bars . . . So I have to go the parent class for every builder class and do this? Do you have a list of the parents? There is no way to fix the dobuilder so it doesn't turn on talk in the first place? Won't these modifications be lost the next time an upgrade of MM comes out because I am changing the parent class?
