Hi Mark.... We are using FoxPro to extract data on individuals who have made reservations to stay at our resort. We have 25 different merge documents (different text is all) and we are merging the standard stuff like name, address, check-in time, arrival date, departure date, etc. We extract each category, prompt the operator for the specific paper stock (preprinted with company logo, maps on the back, disclaimers, etc).

Can you tell where to get the book you referred to?

Thanks,

Bill

>Yes. OLE Automation is the new/modernized way to do this. What are you using the VFP data for in the Word document? Creating/populating values in a WOrd table? If you have specifics, we can give you specific examples of how to do this. There are many of us who have done this. There is even a book on this specifically for VFP developers.

We print upwards of 400 letters a day from this system and would like to find something in VFP that will handle the job outside of DDE. I see in the MSDN samples that there is an ActiveX control called "OLEWORD". Problem is that I can't find all the properties and/or OLE interface commands listed anywhere.
