We have 25 different merge documents (different text is all) and we are merging the standard stuff like name, address, check-in time, arrival date, departure date, etc. We extract each category, prompt the operator for the specific paper stock (preprinted with company logo, maps on the back, disclaimers, etc).

If you have specifics, we can give you specific examples of how to do this. There are many of us who have done this. There is even a book on this specifically for VFP developers.
