I you have repartioned thed river the only thing you can do is to stop using the drive immediately and use some disk recovery software (there is no full freeware/shareware products that I know of). Alternatively you MIGHT be able to use PartitionMagic but I doubt it would rebuild the FAT table meaning you would still have to use disk recovery software. Is your C: drive partition still the original size? What i mean is that if you have a 3GB drive with C: having 2GB and D: having 1GB; after you lost your D: is your C: still 2GB (I realize these are not the sizes on your drive)? If the C: drive has not been re-partioned to span the entire drive you might be able to get everything back.
