If this is an FP 2.6 system. You are almost out of luck. There is a known problem that will never be fixed that causes this problem. It has given me untold grief!
The very best solution is to find a PC with ONLY a c: drive on it, install foxpro and your project with all its files and build your exe of app from this machine.
If you cannot find such a machine, an alternative is to :
[1] Make sure foxpro is installed on your c: drive with no references (including temp to any other drive)
[2] Install your project and ALL project files on the c: drive.
[3] Make sure you have NO references anywhere to any drive other than c:
[4] Recompile your app and exe.
This almost worked for me except I had a couple of FXP's that I keep compiled and use in multiple projects. They had been compiled from my d: drive and still caused problems in the app (even though they were NEVER executed) until I recompiled them from my C; drive. So when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING!
