I forgot my company has Xitech Foxfix. It has a "plug-in" that can be used in the application (i think it is an OCX).

About the case of missing DBFs, i think i can use a "log file" containing all the inserts updates and stuff, just like oracle does. But i think this would give me a lot of work .............
