Umm, "few" years? I've been hearing this since MSFT aquired Fox in '92, almost ten years ago. I first heard the news at the Chicago COMDEX '92 or '93 right after the merger, and the first thing everyone had to say was that MS was buying Fox to gut the technology and kill the product.

And yet I still have a job, and am working on how to streamline our testing for VFP8. :-)
