These are going to contine to be tough times for GPL companies and atleast I am seeing a move away from anything free anymore.

Sure this doesnt so much have to do with Linux. But in general, Linux being the largest of all GPL'd apps .... It does effect things.
Hopefully with the money and power that IBM is putting in the direction of Linux... we wont see too many more of these stories about another GPL company not cutting it...
We need more companies like GreatBridge. not less.
