There is no way the Dev team can please every user. I have found useful things in every new version of Fox.
I think much of this is a matter of perception. Look at new features and ask yourself: can I use this feature to enhance either my productivity or my customer's applications. Don't think "I don't need that today", but instead ask, "Can I use that tomorrow?"

Again, not necessarily the problem. You seem to be leaning to the side that you don't intend to upgrade, unless I've misinterpreted your posts. In this case, no amount of marketing or sales pressure could cause you to change your mind.
