The Dev team must strive to please every user who chooses to purchase/upgrade. Otherwise they're less likely to do so again.

Telling people how to think isn't a good way to win friends & influence people...

>Again, not necessarily the problem. You seem to be leaning to the side that you don't intend to upgrade, unless I've misinterpreted your posts. In this case, no amount of marketing or sales pressure could cause you to change your mind.

You have misinterpreted my posts. Nevertheless, whether I choose to upgrade or not is none of your business. However, I will say I have bought or upgraded every version of Fox, including Mac but not Unix, since FoxBASE+.

If neither the Dev team nor Marketing are going to be to blame for "weak sales", who's left? Ignorant, cheap customers? Right?

With your selective cutting & pasting you're trying to sidestep my point. Like Alex, you've bought into this cult of breast-beating and wailing, that if a single current Fox user chooses not to upgrade then the future of Fox is at risk. If you don't upgrade, you should feel guilty.

Since it didn't sink in the first time, I'll say it again: any VFP "sales inadequacy" will be wholly the responsibility of MS. Not, repeat NOT, the customer.
