We are implementing JDEdwards in our Company. I ivestigated the various interoperability options that JDE offers. At first i thought Com interoperability was the best solution but then digging into JDE documentation and their knowledge Garden i discovered that interoperability through XML is better and easier to implement (if you find out how to implement it) and in the long run more open and supported ... I have tested calling various business functions and it seems to work as expected. The main problem know remains to find knowledgable people to tell you which are the appropriate business functions to call, which parameters to pass, how to use transactions with them e.t.c. You can use the xml interoperability module through some dlls, which I discovered and are not documented for use with any other tool than Visual C++. I have made wrapper VFP classes for them. If you are interested on developing interfaces to JDEdwards i can pass you any experience i have. I am also interested on your experience.
