>Mike, in addition to the interactive changing of moves, a program called 'xvidtune' will let you do it in scripts or from mouse-clicks. I tihnk that is what the command is called, and I am running RedHat 6.2 at home as well... In any case, I know there is a command-line program that will change modes as long as they are set up on your configuration (which Jerry has helped you with)...

Joe, if he is running KDE then he can change modes with alt+cntrl++, if the X configuration was setup during install to support more than one resolution, and he doesn't have to use a command line program. (Unless he wants too. It amazes me how often I jump into a term to do something because it is so quick and easy.) I don't know about GNOME cause I rarely use it, but I hear it is a very good desktop too.
