> Was it you that said you knew how to brew up a batch of Botulism that could kill 100,000?

Yes

>As you said, others know this too. That knowledge is not lost just because you kill the terrorist leaders.

And you do not let the fact that they know how to do it reduce your actions to those based on fear. Mass destruction is a two way street. These kind of weapons can end up killing the family and friends of those who use them, and they realize that. That is why they are not being used.

>
>I was thinking about your question of delivery. Model airplanes could do the job, right?

No, insufficient range. Why use them if your goal is to become a martyr?
These nuts would merely ... on second thought I won't say how to do it.

Don't be suprised if Iraq supplies XV, an organphosphate nerve toxin, deadly at 10mg per person, to the radicals, who then sneak it into this country. Have you had your Anthrax shots yet?

>>It's not about eliminating everyone. It is about being so persistent and determined we win by the sheer force of not giving up.
>These statements seem to be contradictory to me. If they never stop coming how do we win (other than by eliminating everyone)?

One must also consider that besides the Islamic radicals, there are folks of other ideologies who do not want us to be victorious, or even survive. When we start bombing Afhanistan, don't be surpised if we lose aircraft to Stinger missles, gifts from China and Russia. Don't be surprised if medium range ballistic missils are fired at our carrier battle groups. We are at only 60% of our Gulf War strength. Do we retreat when losses reduce us to 50% or less, or do we have massive and costly buildups to overcome the increasing losses? Since Bush said those that aid the radicals are our enemies, and he is right, do we resort to nukes to avoid the ultimate folly, a ground war in asia? If we use even small nukes in Afghanistan, then China or Russia may respond, or give nuke tipped missles to Afghan. Expect us to respond to China or Russia if they do that.

If you haven't realized it yet, the battle field is the entire Earth. We will either previal over the terrorists and their known and unknow allies, or we will surrender and be destroyed. If we do nothing, or make only symbolic gestures, it will only encourage these murderers of women and children, and in the end the result will be the same as if we were defeated or surrendered.

This crisis will test our resolve like no other. If we have become a nation of pleasure-seekers whose only concern is getting the next p0rn pic downloaded, or the next cocaine hit, or what ever, it will not bode well for our country, or the rest of the free world. As America goes, so goes Liberty. If America cannot stand up to thugs dressed in religious garments, who can?

As Bush said, you are either for America or for the terrorists. There is no longer any 'middle' ground.

>>I think we are fooling ourselves if we think these folks want to co-exist with us. They want to destroy us.
>>
>>Do you understand this???
>
>Yes, I understand this. The Islamic radicals want to eliminate our way of life because it is offensive to them.
>
>We are talking about 10,000 persons, more or less. No, we cannot negotiate with these 10,000. However, there are hundreds of millions of Muslims that we can reason with. These people are the key to eliminating the worst of the radicals. If we ally with them and show respect to them, they will help us. If we make war on them (and the NewsMax plan certainly does this) many of them will become radicals. Then we will have hundreds of thousands of Islamic terrorists to deal with.

The error in your logic is to assume that because the terrorists wear the turbin of Islam, that every believer in Islam in the world is in ideological agreement with terrorists. I do not believe they are.

I think Bush made it quite clear last night that America's complaint is not with the millions of peaceful Muslims. They, too, are being held hostage by the same violence. That's why many fled here to America, to practice their religion in peace. Many have become American citizens, stakeholders in the future of our country. And, in the process, I've noticed that they have had some success in making American converts to Islam. Making converts is a goal of most if not all religions.

The vast majority of Believers of Islam understand dangers that the fundamentalists represent, not only to non-Islamics, but to themselves as well. If you are right, and this boils down to a war against Islam itself, and you might be right, the choices remain the same: fight to win, or surrender and convert. To many Americans the choice is Liberty or death.

>
>Do you get my drift?

I do, Peter, but I don't think you realize where you are drifting to. In the end, that direction will result in half of our citizens losing their rights and becoming chattel property of the other half, vails included.
