>Depending on how you are connecting to Oracle, you have to use the class in your PRG to create any DSN you had created on your computer. Are you trying to use a File DSN to connect with instead of a user DSN? This error is actually prior to an actual attempt to connect to the server, so it is not because of anything in Oracle yet.

I am still trying to set up a sytem/file/user dsn. I seem to have all 3 on my working system although I'm not sure what/how I did it. On this other system, I keep getting invalid file dsn. Does the user logged in to this other system need rights on the NT server that's running oracle? So I'm not even at the vfp stage yet on this other PC.
