I paraphrased what I heard and felt he was saying. I did not listen to Rush, and I did not get or read any email. I was watching ABC and felt he had tried to backhand the President. I will admit to reading into his comment 'Some presidents do it well and some presidents don't,' but I did not take it out of context. He was talking about why the President was not addressing the nation. I had not seen the email referenced and was not using that as my source. Just personal feeling at the time he made the comment.
I was emotional at the time and I will give him the benefit of the doubt, if he says he did not mean it that way. But he did make that comment and admits to that portion of the comment. According to the Washington Post.
