Well, it does affect my development machine. When I installed SQL Server on this box, I selected "Windows Authentication" - so I didn't specify a userid and pw during installl. For the last two months, everything has been fine - then a few days ago I was prompted by Windows2000 to change my password - which I did. Now, I get error 169 (The service did not start due to a login failure)when attempting to start-up SQL Server.

This has me stumped...
