Hi Gray, is your Co-worker using Office97?

This is probably a real stretch, but I just experienced something similiar except not in VFP. Recently had Office97 installed on my machine and spent the last week creating a pretty complex Word document for a User manual for one of my apps. Same deal as with your coworker except in Word, after 2-3 hours dialog boxes stopped working or look odd, and response slows down. If I would leave it go long enough Word locks up.

I suspect it was some bug in Office 97 because I've done complicated documents like this before on the same machine and no problems. The only thing that helped was to turn off the M$ Office toolbar. Once my manual was shipped off to the printer, I uninstalled Office97, used the document converter to turn this manual into Office95 doc, reinstalled Office95 and tried to recreate the problems and they didnt happen with the older version. (I didnt bother checking M$ Site for fixes or patches, was too pressed for time) HTH
