Title:
Project locking-up Windows 2000
We have migrated some machines to Windows 2000 Pro and have VFP 6.0 on them. We are running machines that are connected to a network and we are using Visual Source Safe installed on a server that holds the source code. When we attempt to open the project file via the "modi proj" command it locks up our session and we have to use the task manager to exit the process. Running Windows 98 and doing the same set of instructions, as we have for many years, doesn't seem to have this problem. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any suggestions? If we get the project from VSS and then disconnect the network cable and reboot without the network connection it works fine, but this is a pain. We have VFP 7.0 running on some Windows 98 machines and they seem to be fine as well and we were wondering if anyone had this problem or if it has been addressed or fixed ( or if it has been noticed yet ) in VFP 7.0 to work with Window 2000 Pro?
Thank you,
Michael
