You don't want to use mySQL. It is no where near the sophistication and power of PostgreSQL...

Did you check out the Zeos driver for PostgreSQL, MySQL and Interbase that I gave you? I was able to connect to my PostgreSQL tables via Kylix using it.

Another way is setting up an ODBC connection with DNS, as I mentioned earlier.
