Security is *not* my area of expertise! I can help you get things like PivotTables working, but networking and security has always been the kingdom of another co-worker. There are plenty of security gurus on the UT that can help, I'm sure. I wish I knew more about this topic (and it looks like I'll know more by the end of the year, but that won't help you now!).

Since this thread isn't seeing a lot of action, and the topic is pretty vague in comparison to your specific questions, I'd suggest you post again with specific headers. That should catch people's attention, and the question will also be picked up in the "unanswered" button.
