Hi!

Does WEB host mashine have fxed IP address (IP address that is not assigned by netword domain and accesible from outside world)? Your machine require to have IP address that is recognized from outside world. Probably this will require to contain your ISP.

P.S. It is good idea to post this question to other forum.

>>>I have been working with SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services (called OLAP Services in SQL Server 7) to create OLAP cubes from both VFP and Oracle data. I can create the cubes but need some advice on how to post the results of the cubes to the internet. My end-users are 1,000 miles away so it is imperative that I give them the ability to review the reports on-line over the web.

>>For that, you may want to repost the question with a title of "OLAP services on the web" or something similar.

>>>I was leaning toward using the Excel 2000 Pivottable list that is part of the Office web components. However, I am having some difficulties getting it all to work properly.

>>What, in particular, is giving you fits with Excel 2000 PivotTables? I've done some work with them, and I haven't had too much trouble (but, I haven't tried to make them do something they weren't designed to do -- yet!). Perhaps I can help there.

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
