I like it a lot. There are several things that are now built into the OS that you once had to buy software for- support for zip files for instance- zip files show up in XP as a 'compressed' folder, and you can click into them in explorer just like you would any other folder, and copy files in and out.
It also has a built in firewall to protect your machine from the internet. Did I mention that my machine will boot in like 15 seconds?
Some things kind of get on my nerves- many more configuration type things are handled through wizards now making it more cumbersome for someone who already knows how to do it manually.
