I think you will be bucking for next year's UT award for funniest posting on the thread with a potential for this one becoming the longest thread.

My 2 cents -- The only problem with MS aquiring US Govt would be the precipitous drop in MS stock value by taking on National debt. However, with Congress abolished, value should regain quickly enough to repay the debt. Since it would no longer be a democracy, Uncle Sam, oops, sorry, Uncle Bill could default on the debt and make all the Savings Bonds, T-Notes, etc., worthless.
