The reason for the HTML step is because the primary function of the application is to create HTML files. My clients desire paper copies of the HTML rendering in PDF format. So, I already have a pretty complex class that creates the HTML. I'm modifying that class to make the PDF-ready HTML.

Report Writer is a weak sister in this scenario.

I'll try your other suggestions- I think I've been to pdfzone before.
