After the user is found there is a "Send the Private Message" link. My understanding is that the proposed toolbar link to Send the Private Message would not really shorten this process as you still need to find the user.

Instead of User's ID can we just type user's first/last name with autofill feature? I don't know, if it could be achieved, but if yes, it would be great.
