When you use the component menu to add the Zeos components, one of the options is to compile them. This is the component compiler, not the compiler for your applications. The component compiler pops up in its own dialog. Add the ZCommonK component and compile it. THen add the ZDbwareK component and compile it, then the ZPgSqlK and compile it.

You may want to open the library path dialog and add the paths to the components to the list of paths in the path dialog.

When you use the Zeos components you may still have to add dbExpress components to your form, depending on what you are doing -- read only, read-write, etc..
Setting up a readonly data awere Grid is the easiest to do. The others require the SQLExecute or SQLTable functions, etc...
It was fun setting this stuff up for the first time, so I'm not kidding when I say "Have fun!"
