< rof,l > and < lol >. Sometimes verifying the flight, even the night before, is not enough. When Andy and I flew to San Diego on September 8th, our flight was scheduled to leave at 7:45am, so we had to be up an an uncivilized hour to get to the airport. We checked the airline's web site the night before we left, and everything was scheduled to go at 7:45. Imagine our surprise when we checked in at the airport at 6:30am to be told that our flight had just taken off!

This happened before the tragic events of Spetember 11th.
