My temp folder was indeed marked as a system folder, and the check box was disabled. I don't think I have admin rights on my machine. Typing the command in the DOS window gave no error, however, and now I can create forms. Also, the "system" check box, still disabled, is unchecked. That makes it sound as if the DOS prompt let me get around my lack of permissions. We are using Win NT 4 SP4. What is a "system" directory?

Why would VFP have trouble with c:\temp just because it is marked as a system folder?
