Rod,
I appreciate your reply. It does support some of my inclinations toward MSS. However, for my current purposes, I was really looking for a comparison between ASA and MSS. I think your experience with SYBASE has been with ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise - which is full blown and relatively expensive, when compared to either MSS or ASA (Adaptive Server Anywhere aka SQLAnywhere).

In any case, the issue has become temporarily moot, as we've discovered a way to deal with our problem using a purely VFP solution.

I'm continuing my research on both MSS and ASA in the meantime, albeit at a leisurely pace.

So I appreciate your offer of support and a demo, and will keep consider it in the future.
