So your query form is separate from your results form is separate from your edit form? I understand now.

>No. My results form is a non-updatable cursor of just those records that met the user's search criteria. Once they select a record to edit, I pass the PK of that record to my editing form where I open an updatable view parameterized with the PK value that returns just that 1 record. All these forms use private DS as well.
