>We are having problems with our VFP text boxes recognizing a double click when a user double clicks on text within the text box. When a user double clicks on text within a text box, the text is highlighted vs. the double click event being triggered. When a user double clicks on the same text box - but outside the text contents of the box, the double click event fires.

>Any suggestions on how we can insure that the double click event gets triggered regardless of where a user clicks in a text box? Is the behavior we're seeing 'by design' or a 'bug'? (I'm hoping we don't have to resort to a complicated solution involving transparent controls that pass mouse clicks to their underlying text box)

Malcolm,
I can't reproduce it (dblclick always fire).
